TRO Fundraiser concert on June 22 for upcoming Japan concert tour in July

Tucson Repertory Orchestra presents Chamber Music Concert in support of the Japan Tour 2019.

“Any proceeds from this concert will go to funding Japan Tour 2019. 27 Members of TRO will perform in Osaka, Okayama, Nagoya and Hiroshima between July 6 – July 13 while collaboration with local musicians. 
In Osaka, Reiko Shimokawa, who performed the Beethoven’s Emperor Concerto will be the featured soloist, in Nagoya, Ayla Takeda Moreno, a 7 year old who has already won several concert competitions in Tucson will perform Mozart’s Piano Concerto No.1. In Hiroshima, we will perform with the principal cellist of the Hiroshima Symphony Orchestra, Martin Stanzeleit on Schumann Cello Concerto, and his wife, Ryoko Nomura will perform the 1st movement of the Emperor Concerto.

June 22@3pm at Rincon Congregational Church, 122 N. Craycroft RD. We will feature movements from String Quartets by Brahms, Chadwick, Dvorak, Ravel, and works by Gabaye for woodwinds.
Admissions are by donations.

“Tucson GO Club is happy to announce they’re adding a new weekly event for new and experienced players of GO!

Learn from experienced instructors, play open games, and get the experience you need to compete at a higher level!

We will have plenty of well-lit open table space, streaming anime & music, snacks for sale, and more to make you all feel welcome 🙂 “
