“Fold origami and create your own flextangles!

Origami patterns and videos will be provided for you to follow independently. Flextangle templates and instructions will also be provided and examples will be available. 

Drop in at any time after 2:30pm to create your origami and flextangles but make sure to give yourself enough time to complete your projects by 4pm.

All materials will be provided but space is limited. Register online before the event to guarantee a spot.“

Based on a true story, this quirky film follows a team of office workers tasked with designing a real hangar for the giant robot from the classic anime Mazinger Z. A fun tribute to fandom, creativity, and turning passion into purpose!”

“Join us at Whiskey Del Bac for an exciting seminar and demonstration of Tucson Taiko!

Karen Falkenstrom is the founder and Executive Director of Odaiko Sonora, Tucson’s Japanese drumming ensemble. With 40 years experience in the arts industry, she has held leadership roles in many well-known Tucson arts organizations and co-founded three award-winning nonprofit arts groups.

Karen began studying taiko in 2001. Since then, she has dedicated herself to the practice, traveling extensively to study, and learning to build the North American style wine-barrel taiko. Odaiko Sonora, the taiko group she founded in 2002, is dedicated to providing firsthand experiences of taiko in our region.

With programs ranging from huge festivals and in-theater concerts, private/corporate offerings, and school residencies, the group reaches over 150,000 people each year.

This event is free to attend. We are excited to welcome Karen to share her experiences and enjoy a free, live performance here at Whiskey Del Bac.”
