“Join Tucson’s Poet Laureate, TC Tolbert and Mayor, Jonathan Rothschild for a Haiku Hike to recognize the winning poets and their haiku on Thursday, March 21st at 5PM. Festivities begin at Jácome Plaza (101 N. Stone Ave.) with a live performance by Odaiko Sonora, Japanese Ensemble Drumming. We will proceed to each haiku (20 total winners) displayed on acrylic signage along Congress Street and Stone Avenue, where the poet will read their haiku aloud.
These haiku will be displayed for the public throughout the Spring season!”
